Brand Google your default search engine

To get results from Google each fourth dimension you search, you can make Google your default search engine. If your browser isn't listed beneath, check its help resources for info nearly changing search settings.

Cyberspace Explorer 8 & higher

Tip: To come across which version of Net Explorer you're using, click Assistance and then Near Cyberspace Explorer.

Internet Explorer 11

  1. Open up Net Explorer.
  2. At the top correct, click the gear icon.
  3. Click Manage add together-ons.
  4. At the bottom, click Find more than toolbars and extensions.
  5. Ringlet down to the Google Search extension.
  6. Click Add. To confirm, click Add once again.
  7. At the top right, click the gear icon.
  8. Click Manage add together-ons.
  9. On the left, under "Addition Types," click Search Providers.
  10. On the correct, click Google Search.
  11. At the lesser, click Set as default.

Internet Explorer x

  1. Open up Cyberspace Explorer.
  2. In the elevation right corner of the folio, click the gear icon.
  3. Click Manage add together-ons.
  4. On the left side of the folio, click Search Providers.
  5. In the bottom left corner, click Observe more than providers.
  6. Select Google.
  7. Click Add together to Internet Explorer.
  8. Cheque the box next to "Make this my default search provider."
  9. Click Add together.

  1. Open up Internet Explorer.
  2. In the superlative correct corner of the browser, click the Tools icon.
  3. Click Cyberspace options.
  4. In the General tab, find the "Search" department and click Settings.
  5. Select Google.
  6. Click Set every bit default.
  7. Click Close.

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. In the superlative correct corner of your browser, click the down pointer in the search box.
  3. Click Find More Providers.
  4. Click Google.
  5. Check the box next to "Make this my default search provider."
  6. Click Manage Search Providers.
  7. Click Add.

Firefox

  1. Open Firefox.
  2. In the small-scale search bar in the peak correct of your browser, click SearchSearch.
  3. Click Modify Search Settings.
  4. Under "Default Search Engine," select Google.

Safari

  1. Open Safari.
  2. Click the search bar.
  3. In the left corner of the search bar, click the magnifying glass.
  4. Select Google.
